Apple Pay

Apple Pay is a mobile payment and digital wallet service developed by Apple Inc. This service allows users to conduct payments in person, through iOS applications, and over the internet.

In essence, Apple Pay digitizes and supersedes the conventional credit or debit magnetic stripe card transaction at point-of-sale terminals. This is achieved using near-field communication (NFC) technology, enabling a card-less payment experience.

Compatible with most recent versions of iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, and Macs, Apple Pay provides an additional layer of security to transactions by refraining from storing card numbers on the device or Apple’s servers.

This ensures that transactions remain private and secure, reducing the risk of fraud.
