ACH Associations

ACH Associations are groups that govern and manage the rules and regulations of the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network. The primary ACH Association in the United States is the National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA).

NACHA establishes the standards for ACH transactions, provides education and training, and conducts audits to ensure compliance with ACH rules.

NACHA’s role as the ACH Association includes acting as an industry forum for the development of new payment applications and technologies, conducting research and analysis on payment trends, and advocating for the interests of ACH network participants.

It’s through these associations that the ACH network maintains its integrity, reliability, and efficiency in processing electronic financial transactions.
